Described as being like TED talks with drinks, Collective Conversations are proving a popular drawcard for locals.

Collective Conversations are free pop-up talks at different Vic Park locations where people can hear about a raft of topics and from experts in various fields.

Among the previous discussions have been how to open a small bar, how to join a giving circle (which prompted the formation of Vic Park Soup), bicycles and social enterprise, tips to tackle the Plastic Free July challenge, the cycles of gentrification in Vic Park, sustainable housing and urban farming.

In September 2015, our Collective Conversations provided an opportunity for the community to meet with and question candidates in local government election before the big vote.

We currently have two topics that we are working on and we can't wait to tell you what they are!

Head over to our blog to see some of the past conversations
