summer street party 2017
The Vic Park Collective are proud to once again partner with Upbeat Events to deliver The Vic Park Summer Street Party. The 2015 event was a massive success in its first year and captured all the energy, fun and diversity Victoria Park has to offer.
On November 19th 2017 between midday and 9pm pedestrians will take over the streets between Albany Highway between Mint and Dane streets in East Victoria Park, with a mix of live music, food, family fun, art attractions and market stalls.
Stay tuned for more announcements!
Preparing yourself for the event
As you should already know, the Vic Park Collective are pretty passionate about sustainability and less waste. We have participated and endorsed going plastic-free, ditch the car and encouraged the community to ditch takeaway coffee cups for reusable coffee cups. This year we aimed to make the Vic Park Summer Street Party a low-waste and sustainable event. Here are two simple ways you can help:
Parking is very limited on the day and with an estimated crowd of 50,000 you will be much better off walking, riding your bike or catching public transport to the event.
Bring your own water bottle as there will be water refilling stations, and bring your own reusable coffee cup so we can reduce the waste on the day.
