Vic Park has seen renewed enthusiasm for street art in recent years with local residents, business owners and the Town of Victoria Park offering walls to commissioned artists for public murals.
This, along with FORM’s PUBLIC festival and the Vic Park Collective’s Once Upon A Wall project has brought international and local artists into our neighbourhood to provide colourful, lasting legacies to otherwise drab, boring walls.
There are now more than 45 bright murals and cutting-edge street artworks across our urban playground.
The Vic Park Collective has produced The Urban Gallery Victoria Park – a walking map to help locals and visitors find and explore these works in our neighbourhood.
